Canadian Olympic Committee Improves Campaign Costs with Customer Data

To drum up awareness and loyalty for Team Canada, the Canadian Olympic Committee adopted a data-driven marketing approach to reach the right consumers with the right message and drive acquisition while minimizing costs. The Committee leveraged the SAP Customer Data Cloud to power a gamified on-site experience, collecting first-party user data and segmenting it using the Customer Insights tool to create finely tailored campaigns. This resulted in a 106% increase in Facebook campaign conversion rates by 106%, a 51% decrease in cost-per-conversion, and more effective audience segmentation.
